Q 1. Past continuous tense
1. Definition
The Past Continuous Tense is used to describe an action that was happening at a specific time in the past. It expresses ongoing or unfinished actions in the past.
Active Voice: The subject performs the action.
Passive Voice: The subject receives the action.
Structure
Active Voice: Subject + was/were + verb(-ing) + object
Passive Voice: Object + was/were + being + past participle (V3) + by + subject
2. Positive (Affirmative) Structures
